It has been ten months since the last update; I assume the developers are finished with the title. Unfortunately, there are still many game breaking bugs. Beyond that, the unpleasantness of the UI is matched only by the 'nails on a chalkboard' voice acting. This game had potential, but did not live up to any of it. Do not purchase this title.. Horrible quality on all levels.. graphics, writing. Very low budget.. I have been following this game since it was realeased on EA and it promised elements I like in games. Recently I decided to buy this game and I was surprised that I got more then I expected.It is noticable that this game isn't finished yet, but there is enough available to make it playable. Of course there is room for improvement and some things need to be tweaked and bugs need to be dealt with. Still it left me with enough playtime and enjoyment to make it worth the price. Next to my weakness for indie games this made it a good buy for me.I have now finished the available part of the gameplay and I did spend 23 hours to do so. During that time I didn't encounter any big game breaking bugs. The only mission that did get me stuck was the last one, but after a second start I could continue till the endpoint. I have been running this game with the highest video settings.So my advice is take a leap of faith and support this indie game.(update/revision)To my suprise I found out that the game has left EA. So I re-entered the game to finish the endstory / continue with the game play. To my surprise I found that the storm quest was the last thing I could do. If I am honest this now feels like a game that finishes halfway through. I am lucky that I bought this game at a reasonable price. But to be honest the playthrough time is much to short. This could have been much more then it is now.. Garbage game abandoned by garbage developers. 1st time i played it i thought it was stupidly hard , just tried it today and cant put it down its very xcom ish game play is excellent ui isnt great but its not problematic overall this is a good tbs in style of x com with nice weapon upgrades and character skill tree worth playing lets face it there is never enough of this type of game btw it looks ok too .. 8/10 a game worth playing EDIT: OK some more detail. you have amunition that you have to scavenge its not rare but it depletes it also takes space up , all good im inclined to say the battlefield game play could actually be better than xcom take the price in to account forgive them for poor voiceovers and money per hour its a winner. A lot of good things, but so bugged... ><. tl;dr: it sucks.I picked this game up during the summer sale. It looked like it had the foundation of a quality TBS game. So I was content to support the devs. It was buggy, and unpolished, but had potential. I figured I'd check-in on it from time to time, and see how it was progressing.Two weeks afer my purchase of this buggy turd, it was released. The devs released a few patches and "updates" to it, but it's still a buggy turd that's barely above unplayable, and as about as entertaining as the plot from a childrens coloring book. It's now been a year since the last "update" and it's still just as bad as the big ol' bag of beta feces I picked up almost two years ago. Why did I give it a "positive review"? In case someone who hates themself enough is trying to rationalize the purchase of this piece of crap.. First off this is a alpha build - its rough its crude the bugs could drag a racoon off - that said its definatly that girl your friend wants you to meet - you know the one with the great personality - and you dread that sentenceok first off this is a older style xcom/fallout tactics styled game - you have gear you loot you do underhanded thingsProsCover system seems to work ai isn't brain deadthe maps look good for a older style gameyou get the feeling of this is a broken worldconsStory is lacking - its not the worse story I've ever dealt with its not even top 50 but its also not goodThe camera will make you want to hurt someone (wasd is easiest and Q and E spin camera ignore ure mouse)the inv system is clunkyall in all I'd say this could be a good game if someone really takes care of it and I enjoy playing it as it brings me back to earlier days - its fun has a bit of dark humor and is a bit wierd but I'd buy it again. Bland, un-interesting and shallow. Not worth your time.
